Each university has its own credit transfer policies and procedure. Mostly, North American universities accept credits with a course grade above C and the grade does not account for GPA calculation. Some North American universities accept grade D for credits transfer. Some universities require students to earn writing course credits at their own university and others might require CDGDC verification. Student’s home university has the final decision on wether they accept credits from the International Summer Session of UIBE.
Make an appointment with your Academic Advisor, bring the syllabi of the courses you intend to take and tell him/her your plan for attending International Summer Session of UIBE. Most likely, your Academic Advisor will evaluate the courses based on factors such as: course format, content/professor qualifications, and class hours.
You can easily find all the information by navigating our website www.uibesummer.org. If you have any questions feel free to contact our office by phone (0086-10-64492682) or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). We will be more than happy to help you.
After the evaluation, your advisor will assist you with all the necessary steps for successfully transferring credits back to your home institution. Most schools require students to complete a Transfer Credit Application Form.
Complete the online application and pay the tuition and fees, and then you will be able to register for classes. Please make sure to fill out the correct mailing address to receive your transcript on time.
Upon the completion of the program, we will mail your transcript to the Admissions Office or Registrar office of your home institution within 5-8 weeks. You may request your transcript to be mailed to another address.
Make another appointment with your Academic Advisor to confirm courses have been successfully transferred to your home institution.
